I am a bursary funded doctoral candidate in critical social psychology supervised by Prof Peter Hegarty. My research is focused on critical social, LGBT, and lifespan development psychology. I submitted my thesis on 29th April 2016 and passed my viva on 17th June 2016 with minor corrections (1 month).
I hold a BSc (Hons) Psychology (First Class) award by Kingston University and an MSc in Social Psychology (Merit) awarded by University of Surrey. I am also an Associate Fellow of the HEA. I currently combine my PhD research with part-time tutoring with the Open University. I currently teach on DE100 and DD210. I have previously tutored DSE141 and DSE212.
I hold graduate membership of the British Psychological Society and am actively involved, being a member of both the Social Psychology Section and the Psychology of Sexualities Section. I am currently a Committee Member of the Psychology of Sexualities Section Committee and Book Review Editor for Psychology of Sexualities Review.
